HQ Rental Software Alternative: How Corsiva OS Compares on Price and Features

HQ Rental Software and Corsiva OS both handle the core of a rental business: bookings, contracts, fleet and payments. HQ sells plans capped by vehicle count, priced in dollars, with onboarding fees and a broad integration ecosystem. Corsiva OS sells a flat fee in euros with unlimited vehicles, designed by a rental operator for independent agencies, premium fleets and owner-managed fleets. Data checked on 5 October 2026.

HQ Rental Software and Corsiva OS at a glance

HQ Rental Software presents itself as an all-in-one platform, used according to the vendor by more than 1,250 operators in over 85 countries. Built for car and van rental, it can also be configured for motorbikes, boats, equipment and long-term leasing.

Corsiva OS is French software developed inside a rental company, which runs it every day across four sites in the French Alps. It brings together bookings, scheduling, condition reports, contracts, invoicing, payments and security deposits, with the Fleet desk module for vehicles managed on behalf of owners. The interface is available in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.

From year two, HQ drops back to the subscription alone ($1,320, $1,925 or $2,750 a year); Corsiva OS Business stays at €1,176 a year whatever the fleet. With several branches, budget $50 a month per extra branch at HQ, or the Ultra plan at Corsiva OS. The scope differs: HQ includes the channel manager from Basic, Corsiva OS includes owner management (the Fleet desk) and the card-hold deposit from Business. Our guide to car rental software pricing goes further.

What Corsiva OS does differently

  • No vehicle cap: going from 10 to 60 vehicles changes neither the plan nor the price.
  • No onboarding fee: migration is free; only the optional booking website has a setup cost.
  • Owner-managed fleets built in: owner accounts, statements, automatic revenue sharing and a referral partner portal. See our guide to car rental fleet management.
  • Card-hold deposits: the amount is blocked via Stripe, never charged, released on return, with no terminal. Our security deposit guide explains how it works.
  • A rental operator on the other end: the software is built and used by a rental company, and an advisor answers the phone 7 days a week, 9am to 6pm Paris time, in English or French.

When HQ Rental Software is the better fit

HQ is more complete on several fronts. It is the logical choice if:

  • you distribute your fleet on Expedia, Kayak or Turo: HQ's channel manager syncs availability, Corsiva OS has no equivalent yet;
  • you need telematics, insurance or toll management: HQ integrates Geotab, Invers and Zubie among others;
  • you build your own tools: webhooks from Standard, API access from Professional;
  • your customers speak many languages: multilingual support is included from Standard;
  • you run long-term leasing, or rent motorbikes, boats or equipment;
  • you want software proven at scale: HQ shows more than 230 reviews on Capterra, public social proof that Corsiva OS, a younger product, does not have yet.

Switching from HQ Rental Software to Corsiva OS

Migrating your data is free when you subscribe, and your advisor handles it. You start with a free month on the full Business plan, with no vehicle limit, then pick your plan. Check the end date of your current contract before you switch.

Frequently asked questions

How much does HQ Rental Software cost?

On 5 October 2026, HQ lists $120 a month for 10 vehicles (Basic), $175 for 25 (Standard), $250 for 50 (Professional) and a calculator beyond that (Enterprise), plus a one-time onboarding fee of $550, $950 or $1,500.

How does its pricing model differ from Corsiva OS?

Each HQ plan is capped by vehicle count and includes one branch, then $50 a month per extra branch. Corsiva OS charges a flat fee in euros with unlimited vehicles: €59, €98 or €199 a month excl. VAT on a one-year commitment, €70, €117 or €237 without; multi-site is included in Ultra.

Does Corsiva OS have a channel manager like HQ?

No. HQ syncs availability with your website, Expedia, Kayak and Turo. Corsiva OS does not connect to OTAs at this stage: it focuses on direct bookings, with a website under your brand linked to the software.

Are there onboarding fees with Corsiva OS?

Data migration is free. Only the booking website, if you take that add-on, carries a €400 setup fee excl. VAT, on top of €39 a month.

Which one fits a premium fleet or owner-managed cars?

If your business relies on OTAs, telematics or many integrations, HQ is better equipped. If you manage vehicles on behalf of owners and want a fixed price whatever the fleet size, Corsiva OS is built for that case.
