Exotic car rental software for supercar fleets

Large deposits held on the card, renters checked before the handover, evidence on every return and owners paid without a spreadsheet.

A supercar hire is short, expensive and watched closely by everyone involved: the client, the owner of the car, the insurer. The software behind it has to treat the deposit, the evidence and the delivery with the same care the client expects from the car. Corsiva OS was built by an operator that rents high-value cars itself, out of Chambéry in the French Alps, and it is designed for exactly that kind of rental.

What changes with an exotic fleet

  • The deposit is large, often several thousand euros, and it must be secured without charging the client.
  • Every kilometre counts: daily allowances, extra-mileage packs and charges have to be clear before the car leaves.
  • The renter must be checked before the handover, not after the first problem.
  • The handover is a service: delivery to a hotel or an airport, sometimes with a chauffeur.
  • Many cars belong to owners who expect to see what their car earned, rental by rental.

Deposits sized for a supercar

In Corsiva OS the security deposit is a card hold through Stripe, approved with 3-D Secure: the amount is reserved, the client is not charged, and you release it in one click or capture only what is due on return. Stripe's documentation states that an online card authorisation is typically valid for seven days, that a partial capture automatically releases the remaining amount, and that extended authorisations exist for eligible payments. Our guide to the online security deposit for luxury car rental goes through large holds and disputes in detail.

Checking the renter before the keys move

The licence and ID are collected and reviewed before the handover, then kept with the booking. On cars of this value, that review is your first protection against fraud. Our article on vetting renters for luxury car rental lists the signals worth checking.

Evidence on every handover

The condition report is done on a phone: timestamped photos, existing marks, mileage and fuel, confirmed by the client's e-signature at departure and again on return. If a wheel comes back scuffed, the file shows when it happened, and you can charge the damage and the excess with the evidence attached.

Extras, mileage and the price of the day

Extras are set per vehicle: extra-kilometre packs, cleaning, fuel, international cover, champagne or flowers on board. The client sees them before paying. Seasonal and weekend prices follow the rules you set once, as described in our guide to dynamic pricing.

Delivery, collection and chauffeur service

Deliveries and collections at a hotel, an airport or a private address are scheduled with the rental itself, so the plan never lives in a separate spreadsheet. Chauffeur bookings are handled too: hourly packages, extras on board and the confirmation sent to the client. Corsiva OS does not handle the licence or authorisation that carrying passengers with a driver may require in your country; check that with the competent authority.

Owner-managed supercars

Plenty of exotic fleets include cars that belong to private owners. Corsiva OS calculates each owner's share on the split you agreed and records it as every rental is paid, and owners get statements they can check for themselves. Our page on car rental concierge software explains how the owner side works.

The subscription is €59, €98 or €199 a month excluding VAT on a one-year commitment, whatever the size of the fleet and with no commission on your rentals; see the pricing page.
